In the separation dispute with his wife, the musician wrote things on Instagram that he now regrets. He now promises to get better.
US rap star Kanye West says he regrets the way he dealt with Kim Kardashian in the breakup argument.
“I know sharing screenshots was disturbing and came across as harassing Kim. I take responsibility for it,” wrote the 44-year-old on Instagram. “I’m still learning. I don’t have all the answers. Being a good leader means being a good listener.”
The rapper was also self-critical for often writing his posts in all caps: West says he now knows it makes people feel like he’s yelling at them. “I’m working on my way of communicating.”
Posts have since been deleted
West, whose real name is Ye after a name change last year, had repeatedly dealt with comedian Pete Davidson (28) on Instagram last weekend, who had recently appeared alongside Kardashian. In addition, he had again publicly emphasized that he would rather be back with Kardashian. According to the US magazine “People”, the rapper also shared screenshots that should show private messages from Kardashian and Davidson. West has currently deleted all posts from Instagram except for his latest message.
Kardashian and West married in 2014 and have four children together. Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021.
