Voldemort actor Fiennes wore straps when filming
In the film series “Harry Potter” he played the role of mysterious villain Voldemort. In an interview, he now revealed what was going on among the magicians’ flowing robes.
The British actor and Voldemort actor Ralph Fiennes revealed a spicy detail of the shooting of the “Harry Potter” film series. Voldemort is the mysterious villain and powerful opponent of the young sorcerer’s apprentice in the magical world of author JK Rowling.
The tights that he initially worn had always slipped down during the day and became uncomfortable, Fiennes told the US format “Entertainment Tonight”. “Then I said I want individual stockings like straps,” said the 62-year-old. With a grin he added: “I made fun to annoy the stunt people by lifting my robe up and showing them my suspenders.”
He recommended that his successor not yet named as Voldemort in the planned “Harry Potter” TV series at the US broadcaster HBO to practice walking with long robes. “Make sure you can cope with the long, flowing robes and don’t stick to it,” said Fiennes.
New Voldemort actor not yet known
The line -up of the main roles for the series was recently made public. The eleven -year -old Dominic McLaughlin will play the famous sorcerer’s apprentice Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton gives Hermine Granger and Alastair Stout embodied Ron Weasley, said the broadcaster HBO and the Warner Bros. studio. Anyone who will play Voldemort in the series announced for the coming year is not yet known.
Each season of the new series is said to be a faithful adaptation of the seven books by author JK Rowling, who is also on board as an executive producer. It is the second film adaptation of the novels after the successful feature films with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, who came to cinemas between 2001 and 2011.
