Mireille Mathieu comes back to Germany
Mireille Mathieu actually had her farewell tour. But in 2026 the chanson icon returned to Germany – to match the 80th birthday.
The big farewell to the stage is obviously more difficult than expected: Chanson star Mireille Mathieu plans another concert tour in 2026-two years after her last big tour. With “Goodbye My Love Goodbye”, the 78-year-old wanted to say goodbye to extensive tours in 2024. In 2026 the singer is now on stage again in Germany – in eleven cities.
The starting shot will be given on October 28 in Chemnitz, as the ticket portal Eventim informs. The concert series now bears the title “Goodbye My Love Goodbye: The Finale of World Department Tour”.
“With this last tour, Mireille Mathieu and her loyal fans make itself a very special gift – for her 80th birthday in 2026,” said the organizer Semmel Concerts Entertainment on Instagram. Mathieu celebrates this on July 22nd.
“But I no longer do longer tours,” Mathieu said in the interview of the German Press Agency in 2024 – and then spoke of more time for himself and creative projects.
