Speaking with CBR, the actor confessed to having had a meeting with Fincher, where the director revealed how the series could return:
“Look, a few months ago I had a meeting with David Fincher in his office and told me that There is the possibility of returning like three two -hour films, but I think it’s just a possibility. I know there are writers working, but David has to be happy with the scripts.
I felt very lucky and privileged to have been able to do that series. I would love to come back. I think, as I said, it gave me a little hope when I had that meeting, but everything would have to coincide. The good news is that we are in Netflix with The Waterfront, and those films will also be released in Netflix. So I think that, as for dates and logistics, everything could be fixed, but it has to do with David to have the time, the desire and be happy with the material. And, well, that’s a great unknown. ”
