Johnny Marr He talked about why he rejected an “exorbitant” money for money for a meeting tour of The Smithssaying that he did it because the “vibes” was not adequate.
The composer, guitarist and solo star talked about the decision during an appearance in Stick To Football with the former soccer player Roy Keane. There he recalled the moment when he formed the band when he was a teenager and his decision to get away from the group.
Remembering how he formed the group intentionally when he was a teenager, he explained how he was given the role of Manager and fought to handle the great responsibilities that were imposed when the band achieved success and he had just over 20 years.
“We were all very young”said. “We weren’t friends from school … I wanted to form a band, so I went to look for members. We learned to love each other very fast and we became very friends, but we didn’t know each other well.”
