“Top Model” winner Daniela wants to become a teacher

The “GNTM” winner strives for the classroom. She still wants to model further. Fortunately, she could take the time, according to the 20-year-old.

This year’s “Germany’s Next Top Model” winner Daniela Djokic wants to be a teacher. “For me it was always clear: studying is also a wish of mine,” said the 20-year-old from Ostfildern at Stuttgart of the “Bild” newspaper. “And this can be combined quite well nowadays.

Daniela studies English and German as a teacher, as she had told in a press conference before the final. “Everything stays the same. I also plan to combine that.”

Daniela: “I don’t necessarily have to finish your studies right away”

Fortunately, you could take a little longer, said the winner. “I don’t necessarily have to finish my studies right now, but can also take it a little slower – with break semester and something.” The student emphasized: “I definitely continue to focus on modeling, but I still do everything.”

In addition to Daniela, the 19-year-old Berlin Moritz had also prevailed in the anniversary edition of the ProSieben casting show, which had to award a female and a male winning title.

Moritz: “I took so much”

Co-winner Moritz said that the first model jobs in the season were great experiences for him. “I took so much with me.” It was the 20th season of “Germany’s Next Top Model”.

The two Viennese Magdalena (21) and Pierre (22) narrowly missed the victory and became second. The third places went to Jannik (22) from Bad Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein and to Zoe (19) from Pulheim near Cologne.

The two winners will again be rewarded this year with a photo on the front page of the fashion magazine “Harper’s Bazaar” and receive prize money of 100,000 euros. They also become part of a large cosmetic manufacturer’s campaign – alongside show boss Heidi Klum. Applications for the 21st season are already possible. Also in 2026 men can participate.
