Surprise for the Munich “Tatort” commissioner: When you turn to your last case, you get a visit from Edelfan Markus Söder – and he has a gift with him.
An honorary prize to say goodbye: The actors Miroslav Nemec (70) and Udo Wachtveitl (66) are awarded for decades of work as a “crime scene” commissioner – by the Bavarian Prime Minister.
Markus Söder (CSU) visited the longest duo of the crime series when shooting her last case and presented the two of the “Blue Panthers” honorary prize, the State Chancellery announced.
“Commissioners don’t know everything”
“I surprised the two with a hidden camera at the crime scene set for their last case with the award-Commissioners don’t know everything,” said Söder, respecting the actors, who have been in front of the camera as Franz Leitmayer and Ivo Batic in Munich’s “crime scene” for decades.
“For over 30 years, they have positively shaped the picture of Bavaria and wrote television history with subtle humor and down -to -earth characters,” said Söder. “The Munich” crime scene “is a masterpiece for decades. I am a big fan of the two and like to watch her crime scene consequences.”
The actors are officially awarded the honorary award of the Prime Minister at the awarding of the “Blauer Panther” media award on October 22nd in Munich.
Nemec and Wachtveitl go after 35 years
Nemec and Wachtveitl have been “crime scene” commissioners for around 35 years and say goodbye after 100 consequences – the last one is currently being shot. The upcoming retirement of the two was announced at the beginning of the year – a turning point in the history of the Sunday evening thriller.
Her successor will be Carlo Ljubek, who is to determine in the ARD series as chief criminal commissioner Nikola Buvak from 2026. Ferdinand Hofer remains as a chief crime commissioner Kalli Hammermann in the team of the Munich homicide commission. The first case without “Leimayer and Batic” is expected to be shot at the end of this year.
