The two children of the Norwegian heir to the throne have made an appointment for two and without their parents for the first time.
Premiere in the Norwegian royal family: Princess Ingrid Alexandra (21) and Prince Sverre Magnus (19) have completed their first official appearance without their parents, Crown Prince Haakon (51) and Crown Princess Mette-Marit (51). The siblings were not only casual in sports pants and T-shirts, but also extremely active.
Opening of the Rotkreuz summer center
The princess and the prince together opened a summer rescue center of the Red Cross in Bærum. For example, they practiced cardiac resolution to resuscitation dolls, water rescue on a boat and the control of a drone. Cuddling with rescue dogs was also on the program in summer temperatures.
The voluntary work of the Rotkreuz helper was then recognized on that. “The rescue corps moves out with its crews at short notice and is always ready for use. In the summer, events related to water are particularly relevant. The Red Cross has around 320 volunteers in 18 districts who have specialized training in search and rescue on water, and 157 boats that are ready around the clock all over the country.” For this purpose, several pictures of the active royal sibling duo were also published.
Ingrid Alexandra will soon be studying in Australia
Princess Ingrid Alexandra is the oldest child of the Norwegian heir to the throne and will take over the scepter at some point after her grandfather, King Harald V (88), and her father Haakon. First, however, she will move to Sydney, Australia, for at least three years to tackle a bachelor’s degree. Her first semester begins in August, she decided to study with “focus on international relations and political economy”, as the royal family announced in May.
