From Oliver Pocher to Ralph Siegel: Many celebrities publicly share their experiences with Ozempic and Mounjaro. But not all attempts at weight loss are free of side effects.
The reasons from which you choose to use so -called weight loss injections such as Ozempic or Mounjaro are usually very personal. Fortunately, there are people who have made them their profession to bring the most personal details of their lives into public: celebrities.
One of them is Oliver Pocher, the man who became known with jokes and is now more known for being acquainted. At the beginning of 2024 he weighed almost 90 kilos, says the 1.73-meter man in his podcast “The Pochers! Frisch recycled”. He noticed that he quickly reached his limits while playing with his children or during sports. In addition, the death of an uncle shaked him up and made him question his lifestyle.
Celebrities like to talk and a lot, also about the weight loss syringe
Pocher decided on Mounjaro and weighed only 74 kilos three months later. Recently, he has also been doing without energy drinks in order not to get the kilos back on after stopping the medication, reports the comedian.
One who does not seem to think about stopping is a television brillion and Lebemann Robert Geiss. “I have been taking this weight loss very successfully for a year and a half for a year and a half, which everyone pulls the mouth about,” he says in his podcast “Die Geissens.” Twelve kilos are torn and he feels “perfect”. In any case, he doesn’t worry about any side effects: “All of my doctors tell me: ‘Robert, take them on because you are in a good mood, you are good at the start, you have no side effects, no nothing.’ Perhaps there are people who have no side effects. He also did not change his diet, only eat with the medication. And he gives a tip to international travelers: “In Dubai I don’t need a recipe for it. In Monaco, I only go with a recipe that my family doctor will issue me.”
Influencer and podcaster Jule Lobo told in the “News Week” podcast, which she and her partner Sascha Lobo recorded that after a pregnancy she took cortisone, she chose Ozempic. During pregnancy, she had increased a lot that she was flooded with it, she wasn’t doing it well. When the child was there, she started with Ozempic, she says. In total, she decreased 30 kilograms. The goal was always to “get back to a starting weight”. In the meantime she has dropped the medication again.
What many of the Ozempic Promis have in common: you like to talk about your experiences in your own podcasts. So also the former football professional and “Celebrity Big Brother” participant Max Kruse. In “Flatterball” he says that he would like to lose ten to fifteen kilos with the injections. “You always try things out,” says the openly confessed Nutella lover. “I have now started with the grease path injections.”
However, there were complications a little later at Kruse. In a later podcast sequence there was a memorable dialogue in which he told about gastrointestinal problems, which he vaguited in connection with the medication. “I had a lot, a lot of diarrhea,” he said. “I will try the syringe again, if it works for a week, I’ll saw it all out again.” Because: “I don’t feel like stomach cramps at all.” He originally had much more in the promise of his doctor to lose weight without having to change his eating habits. Unfortunately, it is unknown whether the diarrhea has brought him to stoppaping the syringes or whether another reason has been found.
What is known: The music legend Ralph Siegel “had very good experiences” with Wegovy, as he said to the “Bild” newspaper. From 134 kilograms, he reduced his weight to 98 kilos using the medication. Every Sunday his wife pricked him in his stomach and after just a few days, eight kilos were down. So it continued that instead of trouble, joy had come up when he got on the scales. “I would not have done it with a change in diet,” says Siegel. “I feel really comfortable in my skin again.” However, he changed the diet: According to his own statements, he only ate half and refrained from fat and carbohydrates, which he still stops now that he has stopped the remedy.
