A 60-year-old probably had himself vaccinated against Corona en masse and then sold the evidence. There is talk of up to three vaccinations a day. the star asked experts what effects multiple vaccinations have on the body.
For months he moved through Saxony, from vaccination center to vaccination center, from syringe to syringe – and had himself vaccinated against Corona, over and over again. Up to three times a day. It worked 87 times, then it blew up. Now the police are investigating. It was probably not concern for his own health, but the reputation of the despicable mammon that drove the 60-year-old. There is a suspicion that the man sold fake vaccination cards with the real batch numbers to third parties and was guilty of forging documents, among other things. Almost 90 vaccine doses, 90 immune reactions – what does that do to the body? the star asked experts.
Dangerous or not, that’s a question that’s not so easy to answer in this case. After all, there are not many people who get vaccinated so often, as researcher Anahita Fathi from the University Hospital Eppendorf (UKE) in Hamburg diplomatically puts it. In other words, there is no scientific data that could answer with certainty how dangerous such multiple vaccinations are. But what is known is that repeated vaccinations “theoretically – especially if they are given at too short intervals or in too high doses – lead to a strong stimulation of the immune system [können]which can result in increased side effects,” she explains star.
87 corona vaccinations, 87 times the protection?
The man had himself administered up to three doses of vaccine daily. According to reports, this is how it is documented in the system of the Saxon vaccination centers. According to the police, it is also known that the man was vaccinated with various vaccines. However, it is not known how the 60-year-old tolerated the vaccinations. Immunologist Carsten Watzl assumes that the man “did not have to struggle with severe vaccination reactions after every vaccination, otherwise he would not have done it”. According to Watzl, two scenarios are conceivable with regard to other side effects. Scenario 1: In addition to the vaccination, other conditions such as genetic factors, environmental influences or previous illnesses must be present for side effects such as myocarditis to occur. According to Watzl, it is not yet clear whether this is the case with corona vaccinations. But if that were the case, “in the absence of these factors, even 100 vaccinations would not pose a risk of such a side effect.” Scenario 2: Chance plays a role. “Then the probability of a side effect with many vaccinations is of course correspondingly increased,” says Watzl star.
Can widespread vaccination perhaps even have positive effects on health? Is someone who has been vaccinated 87 times also protected 87 times as well against the virus? No. “In terms of the immune response, there is something like one ”immunological exhaustion’, for example when the same immune cells are stimulated over and over again in the case of a chronic viral infection. Then at some point they stop working properly,” explains the immunologist. It is at least possible that something like this can also occur with extremely frequent vaccinations. Watzl explains: “So it could be that this man’s immunity is even worse than in a normally vaccinated 3 times.” In connection with the currently discussed fourth vaccinations, Watzl classifies: “With the 4th vaccination (and also with further vaccinations with sufficient interval) [kann] such exhaustion does not occur.”
The frequent vaccinator faces a prison sentence
The Magdeburger had already started his forays through the vaccination centers last summer, and it was only at the beginning of March that he was caught as a repeat offender, as a spokeswoman for the Leipzig police department told the German Press Agency on Sunday. Accordingly, he was there the day before for vaccination and was recognized. Several blank vaccination cards and the man’s health card were secured and criminal proceedings were initiated. Since the man always registered with his correct name and data, the system can show how often he picked up the spade. It is questionable whether the mass vaccinations can also be detected in the body. In the case of people with a healthy immune system, it is usually possible to prove that the vaccination has been carried out by determining antibodies, explains Anahita Fathi, “however, one cannot prove how often a person was vaccinated”. Watzl also sees it this way: “The problem is that there are no comparative values.”
The man is now being investigated for the unauthorized issuing of vaccination cards and forgery. There is a risk of imprisonment. One has to assume, said the medical lawyer Hennig Lorenz to the “MDR”, that the perpetrator had acted in a very planned manner and had also shown considerable criminal energy with the sale of the vaccination cards. The sale also means that “commercial fraud can be considered”. He explained: “Should the court come to the conclusion that there is commercial activity, then a minimum prison sentence of six months to ten years can be expected. A fine would then be ruled out.”
