It all started in a Chinese city. This was followed by lockdowns of all kinds, contact restrictions, many sick people and even more deaths. In December 2019, a mysterious lung disease was reported in Wuhan, China. Six months later, the disease had spread across the globe.
In spring 2020, all countries imposed a lockdown. For weeks, contacts outside of one’s own household were strictly prohibited. While some moved to the home office to continue working from there, numerous others lost their jobs. Bad news came mainly from the catering and hotel industry.
Since then, the world has been trying to stop the virus with further contact restrictions, masks and finally various vaccines. But with new mutations, this constantly ensures that the number of infections skyrockets. Nevertheless, governments around the world are planning to relax in the hope of returning to life before Corona.
And now it’s your turn! How well do you remember the time when the virus was at its worst? Test your knowledge and take the test!
