A passionate climber injured his hand while climbing. After the injury, the little finger became crooked. This bothers the man when climbing because it was harder for him to grasp. He had not gone to the doctor after the injury. Now the man’s finger could no longer straighten.
The doctor now treating her suspects that scar tissue has formed in the joint capsule. He then recommends an operation to the patient, in which the scar tissue is to be removed with a special incision. During the operation, the doctor notices that the joint is not scarred, but that there is a disease behind the limitation of the finger.
