In addition to back problems, shoulder problems are the most common cause of chronic pain. But something can be done against calcified shoulder and frozen shoulder – without an operation.

At first, Johann Dasch only noticed that something was stuck in his left shoulder when he was driving. When he turned the steering wheel with his left hand, the joint hurt when it turned outwards. “Sometimes my arm felt heavy, as if someone had hit my wrist with a hammer,” recalls the CEO of a Berlin web hosting company. But Dasch took it sporty: he was in good physical condition, trained three times a week and thought a muscle in his shoulder was a little strained. “After a day or two, everything was usually fine again,” he says. With his personal trainer, he also specifically trained the shoulder muscles, which also alleviated the symptoms.
