The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) sees Germany at the beginning of a fourth wave that is picking up speed, especially among younger people. See what the situation is like in the different age groups in your region.

It is currently more and more young people who are infected with the corona virus. This emerges from the latest weekly report from the RKI. According to the report, infection rates in the past week were well above the overall incidence, especially in people under 35.

The table below shows the current incidences for all German districts and cities broken down according to age groups. The data is as of Friday, August 20, 2021. Especially among children and adolescents up to the age of 15, the values ​​are therefore sometimes significantly higher than the overall incidence – and not only in federal states in which the minors are regularly tested in schools again after the end of the vacation.
