“When a patient is intubated and sedated – which affects all 30 of our Covid patients in the intensive care unit … You think these patients don’t make any noise. They just make different noises. ”
Sugi describes that the loud alarm tones mean that a vital sign has reached its critical limit. The nurses have to listen to their patients as they “starve for oxygen” and can no longer do anything.

The USA is currently experiencing another wave of Covid. More than half of the population has been fully vaccinated so far. Nevertheless, the numbers are increasing, around 160,000 new infections are currently being added every day. From September 20, the US government wants to offer a refresher with the mRNA vaccines.
