Mask: Is the plane really safer than the train?

In the new version of the Infection Protection Act, the obligation to wear a mask on the plane is to be dropped, but remain in place on long-distance trains. But a new study from Switzerland has just shown that trains are even safer than planes – at least under certain conditions.

With Putin’s hail of bombs in Ukraine, flimsy Russian gas tricks and a winter with or without nuclear power plants in operation, we had almost forgotten: We are in a pandemic! Still, and also for the foreseeable future. The first crisis does not take a considerate break because there are others in the meantime. That is why a new version of the Infection Protection Act must be forthcoming soon. Because its current version with the nationwide protective measures in the Covid 19 pandemic expires on September 23.
