Mr. Bornemann, when I come home from work stressed and annoyed and I also have a lot of worries: what works better? A beer, a joint or meditate?
In the long term, definitely the meditation. A beer can certainly relax you for a short time when you come home from work annoyed. I’m going to overhear the joint now. But you raised an important point here.

Namely, the question of whether meditation is a quick fix, i.e. a quick solution to problems.

She is not. Some “sell” them that way. But meditation goes a long way. It takes practice and regularity. Then it really brings something – and by the way, it is much healthier than drinking and smoking weed.
