Brinlee Miles was afraid that her husband had cancer, so she marked all suspicious spots with a pencil, the doctor wrote his diagnosis next to it.
Cancer is no joke, thought Brinlee Miles, Utah, when she discovered suspicious spots on her husband’s chest and back. Men and health care aren’t just a problem in Utah. So Brinlee took matters in hand and immediately arranged an appointment with the dermatologist. Her approach was not unusual so far. But Brinlee also marked all “suspicious” spots and circled them in bold with a marker so that the doctor also knows where to look.
The medic reacted to the assistant with humor. When Brinlee got her husband back, the doctor had written his diagnoses on the man’s torso as well.
The preliminary result: almost all birthmarks are benign – “good”, but in two places he has “taken” substance “for testing” and sent it in.
After cancer examination: diagnosis on the skin
Brinlee Miles shared the whole investigation in a TikTok video. “That’s how I sent my husband to a dermatologist,” she called the film. First you see the shirtless husband with his birthmarks. One was circled on the chest and four more were marked with black circles on the back. Brinlee later filmed Miles the husband coming home and wrote, “And so she got him back lol”.
It shows the moment when he comes through the front door and proudly shows a slip of paper that the doctor had given him. Then, smiling, he takes off his shirt to show surprise, as the doctor’s notes were drawn right on the body. Usually a “good” is to be read, but in two places it was written: “Must be tested”. Ironically, at times that the worried woman hadn’t even noticed and that she found unsuspicious.

The all-clear in the update
At first, Brinlee acts a bit “over protecting”. But their method is not unique. “I’ve worked in dermatology for over 15 years and I’ve seen it many times! (But women never come with such circles, lol,” wrote one doctor. A nurse: “I work in dermatology and you would be surprised how many women send their husbands covered with circles. “One user commented:” Another man who will probably live longer just because he’s married. “
In an update, the two announced the result of the examination: no cancer. Brinlee Miles’s concern is also explained, as her husband’s father suffers from the disease.
