Verena Fiebiger is the presenter of the psychology podcast “The Solution”. Now she has written a book with tips for mental health. The star spoke to her.
Mental problems are diverse and can manifest themselves in completely different ways. What they have in common is that you can’t see them. But just as we can all do something for our physical health, we can also strengthen ourselves mentally. Verena Fiebiger is the presenter of the psychology podcast “The Solution” and deals with these topics. Now she has written her first book.
In “The solution to all your problems: It doesn’t exist. What you can still do for your psyche” she picked out aspects of everyday life that affect many people. Together with therapist Sina Haghiri, she gives tips on how to deal with it better. In an interview with the star she goes into more detail and reveals what the content has to do with herself.
Ms. Fiebiger, on the cover of your book it says “Verena Fiebiger with Sina Haghiri“. In the book you mostly write from the first person perspective or neutrally. What part does he play in it?
The book is written by me. Sina contributed his professional expertise as a cognitive behavioral therapist. At the end of each chapter there are “small solutions” containing tools from psychotherapeutic practice. So it makes sense to have someone like him on board. For a while, Sina was also co-host of “The Solution – the Psychology “, which I produce for ARD on Bayerischer Rundfunk. However, over many years I have exchanged ideas with several other psychologists and psychotherapists who also work in systemic or depth psychology and with whom I spoke specifically about the book. They are also mentioned in the acknowledgments.
