Winter is over, everyone is happy. All? No. For allergy sufferers, pollen flight often means a painful time. See what flies through the air every year.
When the first trees bloom after winter, the sometimes painful hay fever time begins for allergy sufferers, which runs until autumn. During this pollen flight time, the body reacts to the pollen of grasses, grain and early flowering trees. The latter include hazel, alder and birch. Wind and rainy weather ensure a quick and wide distribution.
In allergy sufferers, contact leads to cold -like symptoms such as a running or clogged nose, strong sneezing, heavily itchy or burning eyes and skin irritation. The reason: an overreaction of the immune system to the proteins of certain pollen, which are incorrectly classified by the body’s defense as a danger – and subsequently combats.

Not everything buzzes around at the same time. Many allergic -relevant trees bloom in spring, i.e. in March and April.
