The initiative was raised by the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations Organization, Danny Danonwho, during a session of the Security Council, publicly thanked Trump’s intervention to deactivate the conflict. “It deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. We must recognize its leadership and the decisions it made to avoid greater bloodshed.”the diplomat said.

Trump’s application was also backed by Republican congressman Buddy Carter, who formalized a letter to the Nobel Committee to Request international recognition to the US president. Carter remarked that his intervention avoided a war escalation of unpredictable consequences, preventing them from progressing in their arms program.
Direct warning to Israel
In parallel to this recognition, Trump launched an unusually critical message to the Israeli government itself, after new clashes that questioned the validity of the truce. Through his social network Truth Social, the American president claimed Tel Aviv to stop the bombings: “Do not launch those bombs. If they do, it will be a serious rape. Bring your pilots home now!”he warned.
Before traveling to the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump questioned both parties for breaking the agreement reached: “They violated him, but Israel did too,” he said. “I’m not happy with Israel”he added, marking an unusual distance with one of his main historical allies.
The episode reflects both the delicate diplomatic balance that crosses the region and the global impact of decisions that, in the midst of an American electoral campaign, re -place Trump in the center of the international scene.
