tech2b: 37 start-ups with potential

“We now have over 40,000 downloads,” said founder Eva-Maria Infanger at a press conference. Linz-based Compunity GmbH, headed by founders Florian Krenn and Harald Müller, had another brilliant idea. This supports companies in digitization.

These two young companies are among the 37 start-ups that have gone through a tech2b start-up program. The state-owned tech2b Inkubator GmbH accompanies young companies in the first few years.

“For the future, we have decided to focus on the topics of eco-technology and sustainability,” says tech2b Managing Director Raphael Friedl. This means that more companies with an eco-tech orientation are to be promoted and supported. A corresponding program is currently being drawn up. Since autumn 2021, there has also been the early support program “Ideate”, in which potential founders are supported at an early stage.

Since it was founded in 2002, tech2b has supported more than 450 start-up ideas, more than half of which have resulted in companies.
