REED. Led by Austria’s second best tennis player Sinja Kraus (world ranking position 155), the women of the UTC Fischer Ried celebrated a very clear 5-0 home win against the Graz Park Club on Saturday.
Sinja Kraus had no problems in her game against the Russian Polina Lejkina in 6-1 and 6: 2. Selina Dal and Livia Kraus also won similarly confidently. Jessica Aney and Nadja Ramskogler each kept the upper hand in a decisive champions tiebreak (instead of the third sentence, editor’s note). Because the encounter was already decided, the double games were no longer held.
