After more than two hours of violent rain, a landslide from the Marcora summit in the Belluno area detached. State road 51 Alemagna, an important traffic artery towards Cortina, had to be closed.

The installation of alarm systems that could stop the passage of vehicles on the state road is considered if they find rubble movements.
