The classic concert series on the cathedral will start next Monday, July 7th. The OÖNachrichten are giving away free tickets for three selected events – participating pays off.
One of the highlights of Classic at the cathedral is the concert by world-class violinist Anne-Sophie Mother. The four-time Grammy winner will come to Linz on Tuesday, July 8, at 8 p.m. Together with the renowned Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from London, Anne-Sophie Mother plays music from cinema hits by John Williams, from “Star Wars” to “Harry Potter” to “Indiana Jones”. At the beginning, the artist can be heard with a violin concerto that John Williams (93) wrote to her. “I immediately fell in love with the work because it is a reference to jazz in his core idea,” said the 62-year-old in January. We are giving away three times for this concert.
