In spring Linz will again be run over three bridges

There seems to be more going on again soon, and that makes those responsible for the Linz 3-Bridge Run confident that this year almost everything could go as usual again. Last year, the popular running event became a solo event for those interested, who could complete the approximately six-kilometer route at a time of day or night of their choosing. Documented, uploaded, then given a medal and certificate, which was sent to the participants by post.

On April 30th, the virtual alternative should give way to the real experience. The 33rd edition of the 3-Bridge Run, starting at the ice arena and finishing at the Kultur Hof in Ludlgasse, will start at 3 p.m. If you counted the two bypasses of the Voestbrücke individually, then the 3-bridge run would be a premiere this year, in that it would, strictly speaking, lead over four bridges, says Kultur-Hof managing director Wolfgang Pfeiffer. What is certain is that the traditional Linz run will be the first official one over the new railway bridge.

Because you shouldn’t shake the tried and tested despite the forced break caused by corona, this year there will again be competitions in individual and couple evaluations, in company and club evaluations and in the student cup. And the running event will again serve a good cause, as Philipp Albert, chairman of the Kultur Hof, explains. With the purchase of a premium package, which includes a “Lauf tut Gut(es)” t-shirt, you support the B37 association. Registration: www.3-brueckenlauf.at
