In 2019 Samsung presented his first smartphone with a foldable display. On Wednesday, the South Korean manufacturer presented the latest devices of the Galaxy-Z series: the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the smaller Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the cheaper Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. There is also a new Galaxy Watch.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 should convince above all with technical data that more and more approach the current flagship model S25 Ultra. Specifically, these are a telephoto lens with 50 megapixels and the wide-angle camera with 200 megapixels. With the ultra-wing angle lens, the 50 megapixels remain reserved for the S25 Ultra, while the fold remains here at 12 MP.
The previously rather narrow outside display was made wider and now has a diagonal of 6.5 inches. With a thickness of 4.2 millimeters (or 8.9 millimeters in the folded state), it is the thinnest fold so far. With a weight of 215 grams, it is as thick and heavy as a Galaxy S25 Ultra. With 256 GB of memory, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 costs 2099 euros.
