In September 2023, the first Obereder athletics meeting took place in Taufkirchen on the Pram in the “Lukas-Weiß-Weißhaidinger-Gurzzentrum”. Next Saturday, July 26th, the second edition of the competition will follow in the home community of Olympic medalists Weißhaidinger.
National talents meet international world-class athletes. The anticipation of the Innviertel athletics fans is of course particularly great for the appearance of local hero Weißhaidinger, who won the discus competition two years ago with a width of 64.54 meters and became a father for the first time in May.
The eyes in Taufkirchen will not only be aimed at the 33-year-old. An absolute world-class athlete comes to Taufkirchen with the Austrian javelin thrower Victoria Hudson.
