DeJa-VU for the fire brigades’ forces and Bad Ischl: Almost in the same place, where a car almost slipped into the old dream arm less than two months ago, there was a very similar accident on Tuesday afternoon. For an unknown cause, a car had strayed from the Engleitenstraße and was stuck in the steep embankment. According to the emergency services, the driver was very lucky: himself managed to climb out of the accident car and get himself to safety.

The volunteer fire brigade Lauffen was alerted at 5:16 p.m. under the operational keyword “Sitting car”. It quickly turned out: You would need the colleagues of FF Bad Ischl with the heavy armory to recover the damaged car. For the time being, the car was secured using a winch to prevent further slipping into the stream bed. The car was finally lifted onto the fortified road and taken over by a towing service.
