On Saturday, a four-year-old girl climbed out of a living room window unsupervised in Gramastetten (Urfahr district) and then fell two meters down. The father, who was working in the immediate vicinity at the time of the accident, found his daughter with unspecified injuries sitting on the cobblestones under the living room window and immediately called the emergency services.
According to the police, the mother of the four-year-old who died in the accident was also outside the house at the time of the accident. The toddler, who had been alone in the family’s living room before the accident, was brought to the Kepler University Hospital by rescue helicopter from Gramastetten. The police are investigating because of negligent bodily harm. The police could not provide any further information on the current state of health of the girl on Sunday morning.
