The psychologist explained the decision of Jolie to sell the winery bypassing Pitt

American actress Angelina Jolie is very offended by her ex-husband Brad Pitt and intends to hurt him. This was announced on February 20 by psychologist Carol Lieberman.

According to her, Jolie, due to strong resentment, in particular, wants to take away his children, because she understands that this will hurt him.

“She does it to hurt him, and now here’s a new knife in the back – sale [части винодельни] Miraval. She knew she had no right to do it the way she did it. She paid for 40% of the purchase of Chateau, so they really owned equal shares, ”the psychologist noted.

As Lieberman said, Pitt had the right to select candidates for the purchase, but Jolie sold her stake to a person from another country with a different mentality.

“I think she wanted to further distance herself from Brad. After all, it was the house in which they played their wedding, it was of great value to them, they were going to grow old together in it, ”she said.

Earlier, on February 17, it was reported that American actor Brad Pitt accused ex-wife Angelina Jolie of secretly selling a share of a joint winery to a Russian businessman. He sued her to void the deal.

It is noted that the new trial is part of a lengthy lawsuit between former spouses over the division of common property, as well as the struggle for custody of six children.

Pitt and Jolie purchased the Chateau Miraval Chateau in France in 2008. The grounds of this residence also include a winery, which Pitt himself considers a successful business thanks to his efforts.

According to the plaintiff, he invested large sums of money in the production of wine, however, Jolie herself, Pitt admitted, spent 40% of its value on the joint venture – $ 28.4 million.

As follows from the court proceedings, in September 2021, Pitt allowed his ex-wife to sell her share, provided that he personally approves the buyer’s candidacy. However, already in October, the actor learned that a certain company called Tenute del Mondo (a subsidiary of the Stoli Group owned by Russian businessman Yuri Shefler) acquired Jolie’s share in the winery without his knowledge.

Pitt states that Jolie did not get his consent to the deal and deliberately withheld its details from him. Now the actor demands to cancel the deal and pay him compensation for the damage suffered.

Earlier, on July 23 last year, it was reported that Jolie had sued the judge who was considering a civil custody case for the children of the actress and her ex-husband. According to him, now the actress has a chance to achieve sole custody of the children.

In May, Pitt secured joint custody of the children from Jolie. This decision was preliminary, and Jolie continued to defend her position, because of which the trial between the former spouses has been going on for more than five years.

In mid-March, the actress announced that she intends to provide evidence of domestic violence by the ex-spouse. To which the actor said that he was extremely saddened by such statements, specifying that he had never used physical violence against his ex-wife.

The actors filed for divorce in 2016 after 12 years of relationship and two years of marriage. The couple have six children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.
