For the second time within three weeks, the St. Agatha fire brigade in the municipal area of Bad Goisern had to move out to a vehicle recovery on the east bank and bike path next to the Hallstättersee. After an Asian vacationer family got stuck there with a rental car in early July, this time a van was stuck at the level of Obersee.

Complex rescue operation
The handlebar, as the emergency services announced, had probably relying too much on the- unfortunately wrong- information of his navigation system and had risen on the narrow hiking and bike path. The small truck finally slipped from the fortified path with both tires and could not go back or forth. Again the comrades moved out to an elaborate rescue operation. Because even the emergency vehicle could not drive to the scene of the accident, which is why the equipment had to be carted with the help of a wheel loader.
