Nigerian Olanrewaju Durodola has more chances to win in a duel with Russian mixed style fighter Magomed Ismailov at the REN TV Fight Club. Super Series. This opinion was expressed on February 20 by boxer Eduard Troyanovsky.

“Durodol will first of all feel the distance. He knows how far to box, how to defend, how to punch. I can’t say that Magomed knows this… Boxing is completely different. They need functional boxing endurance,” he said in an interview with Izvestia.

Troyanovsky suggested that Ismailov intends to decide the outcome of the fight at the very beginning of the meeting.

“I believe that he will try to speed up, focus on working as the first number at the beginning of the fight and be able to hit – then yes (win. – Ed.). If the fight drags on into the later rounds, then I think it will not work for him, ”said the specialist.

In his opinion, both opponents will not be “cautious” during the fight. Troyanovsky wished the Russian good luck, emphasizing that he would root for him.

On the eve of February 19, Olympic champion boxer Alexei Tishchenko said that Ismailov’s strength lies in his endurance, he is able to keep up the pace. At the same time, Tishchenko is convinced that Durodola still has more chances to win. This is due to the fact that the fight will be held according to the rules of boxing, while Ismailov is an MMA fighter.

Durodola, in turn, also commented on his opponent’s fighting skills. According to the Nigerian, Ismailov is strong and fights aggressively, but the fight will be held according to the rules of boxing, so that the opponent “cannot strike with his elbow, neither press down nor break.”
