What started with a vision in 2012 is today an internationally recognized, regionally deeply rooted cultural initiative – supported by openness, diversity and a clear mission: culture as a connection. According to the taste of the Festival Manager Gernot Bernroider, who worked as a musician and music teacher for 22 years. This year he invites you to the New York City Music Marathon in Mattighofen for the 14th time. The coveted workshops for musicians take place in advance, visitors can look forward to a varied, top -class (music) program from Tuesday, August 5. An overview:
Global music portraits: The final concert of this year’s workshop participants will take place in the city park before the official opening of the music festival, on Tuesday, August 5, at 5 p.m. Folk, country, rock, pop and jazz in combo and unplugged format as well as the “Just Sing! A capella ensemble” awaits visitors.

Opening night On Wednesday, August 6th, 7.30pm, under the title “(g) biodiversity & art: Connect, rediscovered!” Of course, the focus is on live music, but also the answering of current questions about natural gardening, garden strategies as climate buffers and biodiversity. Garden bloggers Florian Hödlmoser, master gardener Franz Hönegger, biologist Johann Neumayer and herbalist and farmer Katharina Beinhundner will sit on the podium. The opening night takes place in the Mattighofen City Hall.
Blues-Power Night: The Nigerian from Switzerland, Justina Lee Brown, will be enchanted with her unmistakable voice on Thursday, August 7, at 7.30 p.m.
