Fire brigade had to pull coaches from the mud on the Almsee

The stay of a tour group on the idyllic Almsee in the municipal area of Grünau in the Almtal (Gmunden district) took a little longer than originally planned. The bus, with the group, was stuck at the large parking lot in the underground, which was softened by the heavy rains of the past few days.

The chauffeur no longer managed to maneuver the heavy vehicle from the Morast, instead the bus drove on with the rear axle. According to the State Fire Brigade Command, the emergency services of the Grünau volunteer fire brigade were alerted at 2:32 p.m. under the keyword “Sitting Autobus”.
