The travel to the south increased on Thursday evening, especially by vacationers from Bavaria, to match the second “Bavaria weekend” of the summer. While the summer holidays are already over in some German federal states and in Denmark, return travel is slowly beginning. After the rainy last weekend, the ÖAMTC now expects high summer temperatures around 30 degrees, which can also make the journey more difficult for many.
