In Hofkirchen in the Traunkreis, an agricultural machine caught fire on Monday afternoon. Around 12.53 p.m., the press plant of a balconized bale press caught fire on a tractor. The tractor handlebar and a resident reacted to the might and were able to keep the flames under control with fire extinguishers until the fire brigade arrived – and thus prevented further spread.

The fire brigades Hofkirchen and Hargelsberg finally deleted the fire and cooled the machine to avoid rebuilt. Nobody was injured, the amount of property damage is still unclear. The assignment was over after about an hour and a half.
