Paris Saint-Germain won the UEFA supercup for the first time after a tremor. The Champions League triumphat and club World Cup finalist prevailed 4: 3 after penalty shootout in the Stadio Friuli in Udine against Europa-League winner Tottenham Hotspur. After a regular season it was 2-2.
The inferior English football traditional club was clearly noticeable. The Londoners with the prudent defense chief Kevin Danso had already had a hand on the trophy. Up to the 85th minute, the Austrian team player and his colleagues led to goals by Micky van de Ven (39th) and Cristian Romero (48th) 2-0. But the French champion never gave up, pressed in the finish and rewarded himself.
