It is best to bring children closer to children from whom you are enthusiastic. So it could be a stroke of luck that in St. Florian, where Anton Bruckner has left astonishingly many traces to this day, Lydia Zachbauer is a woman at home who feeds her profession out of enthusiasm. Incidentally, she still comes from a high -musical family, which means that the inheritance is almost an obligation.
The young Bruckner Days are a little the cultural child of the two -time mother, who feels comfortable in the role of the cultural mediator. Sometimes less is more, is the motto that will be lived this year at the young Brucknage days from 20 to August 22nd. “We offer four events on three afternoons in which the children will experience special moments,” says Zachbauer in an OÖN conversation. Above all – and that is particularly important to her – the offers are really open to everyone. “We are 100 percent inclusive this year, we have worked towards it for so long.”
The new direction, according to which less can be more, was due to the situation in advance. The half team, which has developed the young rail of the classic Bruckner Days in recent years, has dissolved. With Katharina Eckerstorfer and Zachbauer, a duo is now pulling the threads, which has changed nothing of devotion and use in the program design.
“Invested in supervisor”
Of course, there was also the possibility in the room to suspend the cultural mediation for this year. “Nobody told us what we have to do, but it was important to us that the young Bruckner Days take place,” says Zachbauer. “We invested in the care team and did not leave our qualitative claim.” There is 1: 1 care for disabled children so that they can enjoy children’s culture and the program. Children from 6 to 12 years are addressed, whereby the “Curious Nose Tour” on August 21 from 2.30 p.m. there is also an event for the little ones (0 to 5 years) with accompanying person.
