Like its Austrian counterpart Hofer, the German discount supermarket Aldi regularly has practical articles from the areas of technology, household and garden in the range. However, a current offer stands out: A mini excavator is offered in the Aldi online shop, the sale starts on August 31.

The “Mini-Zenzin excavator EXC815” is available for 5949 euros, according to the offer of 40 percent cheaper than for a non-binding sales price of 9999 euros. The 8.5 hp-strong vehicle with a 4-stroke engine is delivered directly to the front door by freight forwarder. According to the website, the excavator is “suitable for digging on construction sites, the lifting of foundations or garden projects.”
