Letitzki adds: “You should only wear helmets that are also approved for road traffic, i.e. the ECE-22 regulation. Since January 2025, only helmets may be sold that correspond to the extension 22.06-but the use of older models is still permitted. Helmets without an ECE test, such as brain caps, are inadmissible.”

Allowed or forbidden: meandering through traffic?

Before red traffic lights or in traffic jams, the ancestor between standing vehicles is generally allowed. However, only if there is enough space. Stop lines must not be run over and the driven off the breakdown strip (without breakdown) or the rescue alley is also prohibited and punishable.
