Whenever the cinema is (again) traded as a death candidate, they are good for surprises: Upper Austria’s cinema operator. Jürgen Grassinger from the Lambach cinema, for example, invested 350,000 euros in the toughest Corona period (2021/22) to build a second (luxury) hall. Beate Haller-Fischerlehner returned from the pension in 2020 to lead the “Film scene Ottensheim” again, the young successor had finished the air with Corona.
“Extraordinary commitment,” says Andreas Haider, is that quality for him, thanks to which the Upper Austrian cinema scene works and pulsates so much.
The operator of the “Leone” cinema meeting is also behind the most recent action, because of which you are not only making eyes in the state because of films on the screen. The 40-year-old has “more than 100,000 euros”-he wants to keep the exact amount to himself-to put his one-room cinema up to date. From the outside, the “Leone” still looks like country life, although the modernization of the Haider’s entrance area is the next destination.
