A swan in the area of the Schlögener sling has come into a predicament: passers -by had observed how the water bird was in the middle of the Danube. It was clearly recognizable that he wanted to swim away, but did not come off the spot, said the Gusental animal aid, which was called for a swan rescue.

The swan probably owes his life to the courageous intervention of animal lovers. A member jumped into the water and swam to the animal in need. It was only up close that the swan was tangled into a fishing line all over the body that made it impossible to move.
