A decent level of patience brought drivers who were traveling on the western carway in the area of the state border between Upper and Lower Austria in the direction of Salzburg on Wednesday afternoon: After a massive overhead construction had fallen on all three traces of the road at around 2 p.m. between St. Valentin and Enns, the A1 had to be closed in the area.
