Climate protest in downtown Linz: activists rope from bridge

The campaign triggered traffic chaos in the city center.

Shortly after the campaign started, several police patrols had already gathered on site.

Nothing left on the Nibelungenbrücke on Friday morning: Car and bus columns in Rudolfstraße backlow back in the direction of the city, there was also a standstill on the lower Danube area- a rare picture in the summer vacation. The reason for this was a protest at the Lentos Art Museum: A small group of climate activists had blocked the street near the intersection with the Adalbert-Stift-Platz, and two activists had divided belts and helmet secured from the pedestrian bridge and drained at a height of a few meters above the road.
