With sales of EUR 497.6 million, the EBIT before non-recurring effects was EUR 4.3 million. However, the result was reduced by one-off effects amounting to 29.4 million euros. The bottom line was therefore a minus of 25.1 million euros for the operating result (EBIT).
This emerges from preliminary figures from the company on Thursday. The background to the negative one-off effect was a lost legal dispute with a supplier. On the other hand, the strong cash flow generation should be emphasized, which resulted in a free cash flow of 70.5 million euros and a reduction in net debt to 177.8 million euros, the aircraft manufacturer announced.
For 2022, FACC expects further positive development in the continental markets of the USA, Asia and Europe and increasing demand for short- and medium-haul airlines. Accordingly, the company sees itself back on course for growth and expects an increase in sales of around ten percent and an EBIT in the low double-digit million range for the full year 2022. The annual financial report and comprehensive outlook for 2022 will be published on March 30th.
