The 59-year-old from the Perg district was traveling at around 11 p.m. with a van on the B1 in Gerersdorf in the direction of St. Pölten. Probably due to a distraction, the woman should have come to the oncoming lane briefly. There her vehicle crashed into an oncoming car in which a 43-year-old Lower Austrian and his partner (36) sat.

“The transporter has overturned and was located on the street when we got there,” says Matthias Fraberger, commander of the Gerersdorf fire brigade, who was called up together with the Princersdorf fire brigade. Fortunately, nobody was caught in the vehicles: “First aiders have already helped the car occupants,” says Fraberger.
