Liess previously worked as a manager at the Carinthian weapon manufacturer Glock and was responsible for sales, marketing, product management and the training department. The Graz University of Technology worked in management positions at Frequentis, Rohde & Schwarz and Bosch and is a former officer of the Federal Army.
