The Podcaster and Pro-Trump activist fell victim to an assassination attempt on the Utah Valley University campus in OREM. On Sunday, the Trump camp wanted to remind 31-year-old Kirk in a funeral at Phoenix in the US state of Arizona. The ceremony is reminiscent of a canonization in the United States.

The guest list is like a who’s who of the Maga camp (Make America Great Again, makes America great again). Trump himself and his vice JD Vance were expected for the funeral service, for which the highest safety precautions were taken. The location of the celebration was the football stadium of the Arizona Cardinals professional team, which can be expanded to more than 70,000 places.
As the main speaker, Kirk’s widow Erika wanted to address the funeral guests. After the death of her husband on September 10, she had announced that she would keep his movement alive. Her crying will “resound all over the world like a battle cry,” said the widow, who has now taken over the management of Kirk’s youth organization Turning Point USA.
Memory of religious and patriotic charged
Preparations for the memory were already religious and patriotic. “Faith, family, freedom” could be read on portrait photos of Kirk, who lay down hundreds of people in Phoenix in front of the headquarters of Turning Point. The sidewalks were overcrowded with flowers, US flags and red, white and blue balloons.

For many young Maga supporters, Kirk was a kind of preacher of truthfulness before his death. Maga and Trump stand for the good and divine, who criticizes or combats it, the evidence represents the announcement.
Kirk preached this message to young people in online networks, and he toured at schools and universities throughout the USA. Because of his radical views on topics such as gender identity, racial question or gun ownership, the 31-year-old polarized as much as Trump himself.
