France’s Minister of Culture Rachida Dati praised her as a “French woman in the heart”. “Her gaze, her voice and charisma will remain part of the film history forever,” Dati wrote on X. “As a French woman in the heart and muse of the greatest, she brilliantly embodied freedom, strength and elegance.” Italy’s Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli described her as “one of the greatest Italian actresses of all time”.
